ZTE was originally incorporated as Xhongxing Semiconductor Co.,
Limited in Shenzhen China in 1985 and was renamed to Zhongxing New Telecommunications Equipment Company Limited in 1993. It 1997, it released its IPOs on Shenzhen stock exchange and listed on Hong Kong stock exchange in 2004.
