Trent University Peterborough is a science and liberal arts institution based in Canada that provides students with several academic programs. It is one of the Canada's top Universities known for teaching and research facilities.
Under its prime authorization, there are many colleges affiliated to the University such as Catharine Parr Traill College, Lady Eaton College, Otonabee College, Champlain College, Julian Blackburn College, Peter Gzowski College and Peter Robinson College. There are many types of undergraduate and graduate programs for the students such as M.A. in English, History, Theory, Culture, Politics, Applications of Modelling in the Natural and Social Sciences, Anthropology, Ph.D in Environmental and Life Sciences, M.Sc in Material Sciences and many distance education courses. The University also offers Indigenous studies programs related to Indigenous intellectual and cultural activities through 'Indigenous Studies Department'. The University provides access to Internet based courses to the students through Internet access systems such as AirTrent Guest, Eduroam, AirTrent and Reznet.
