Dear Senator Kerry, I'm emailing you today because someone needs to do their American duty and stand up for what is right. My grandfather was drafted WWII, my father Vietnam, and my generation volunteered. I'm a third generation infantryman. My wonderful strong hard working wife's father passed away in a car wreck months after returning home from Vietnam, she never got to meet him. The war ate away at my father over the years and in 1998 while I was in basic training he passed away at age 44 In 1971 when you gave your Anti War Speech my father was in Vietnam at the time. A lot of veterans were proud you stood up for them that day and is probably why you got elected to office. Like so many veterans back then my father never talked about it, so not sure his views, but have my own now because being an only child without a father most of my life has forced me to learn on my own. All veteran families have to be disgusted by your actions as a United States Senator lately. Service before self Sir, you're acting like since you have suffered everyone should have to suffer. Time to wake up Senator Kerry, everyone has suffered in life NO matter their race or gender. The American people voted President Trump in office because of the partisan in Washington D. C. And we do not expect you to agree with everything, but we do demand to see bipartisan. Please remember all the one's who lost their lives for us (your brothers and sister.) If it wasn't for the VA myself and so many others veterans and their families would be struggling worse than they already are.
