I have been a customer at the same address for 15 years. This week I needed two old twin mattresses with box springs picked up curbside. I called on 10-8-18 and agreed to have them picked up on my next regularly scheduled trash pickup day; Wednesday Oct 17th. On Monday, Oct 15 I saw a voice mail on my phone saying they had attempted to pick up the mattresses that day, but nothing was put out curbside. I called back on Tuesday, Oct 16 to say the mattresses weren't out because we were expecting them on the 17th. The young man I spoke with was nice and said that yes, pickups are on regular trash day and we should expect them to be picked up the next day; Wednesday. Well, at 4:54 pm I called back to say they had not been picked up yet and was told it could still happen that day; it didn't. The next day I called and was told a supervisor scheduled it for today; Thursday after seeing they were not picked up on Wednesday. Today at 4:50 I called back to say they had not been picked up yet. I was expecting to be told it could still happen, but instead was told the driver claims he picked the items up yesterday, Wednesday. I took a picture of our mattresses still sitting out by the curb, our address is visible in the picture, my iPhone shows the date. I was then told I could be scheduled for pickup on Monday, Oct 22nd. I then cancelled the pickup and my trash service. I am now looking for a waste removal company that will not give me the run around. What disappointed me the most was the offer of a pickup on the 22nd. After having so much trouble, I believe a company with good customer service would have found a way to get someone over here at least by tomorrow; Friday. It has been embarrassing for me to have those mattresses sitting out there for so long for all my neighbors to see, and being told I will have to wait another four days until Monday felt like a slap in the face so I lost my cool and cancelled all our services. So disappointed.
