History
Oregon Health Plan was introduced in the year 1993. The
Idea to create the health plan was brought by John Albert Kitzhaber, who was serving as the state senator at that time, accompanied by Dr. Ralph Crawshaw, an activist from Portland. The plan focuses on assisting the poor working people. In the year 2008, certain changes were made in the health plan that covers disorder development among young children. According to December, 2013, the health plan serves over 900,000 people living in the state. The basic eligibility to be a member of the plan is that a person must be a citizen of Oregon.
Categories
Oregon Health Plan comes in two categories after February 2003, when the previous plan was updated with changes. Those two categories are "OHP Plus" and "OHP Standard".

So my husband and I moved to Oregon a month ago. We are trying to sign up for California Health Plan, but we cannot until my entrollment worker gets a phone call from SOMEBODY in OREGON, stating we had NO OREGON BENEFITS prior to moving to California on March one, 2018. Its quite frustrating because I am on expensive medication that I am required to take twice daily, and with no income or insurance. I can die if I do not have it My enrollment worker has been trying to contact someone in Oregon to verify since last Wednesday. I have received an encrypted email from OHP and cannot open it. I have tried calling since August 9th and cannot get through on your phone lines. In fact, when I call after 4:30pm I get a message saying "we are now closed" even though your message says you are open until 5:00 I am very frustrated and would appreciate a contact or a phone call (541-513-8331). This us my second attempt at emailing.

I tried to call you, but waited 45 minutes and hung up. My question is this: I snail mailed you my OHP application ten days ago. Did you receive it?
