Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) is a community health care center that provides Medicare services to the Ontario region. The hospital provides all types of primary care, secondary care and tertiary services. It is owned and monitored by Halton Healthcare Services, which also owns Milton District Hospital and Georgetown Hospital. Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is funded by Oakville Hospital Foundation.
History
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital laid its foundation on 14th of February 1950. With the expansion in services, the Halton Health Services opened a new healthcare facility under the name of Georgetown Hospital on 10th of January 1957. Furthermore, Halton also started Milton District Hospital on 21st November 1959 with the
Aim to provide affordable healthcare services for the community of Ontario. Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is centralized at Oakville, Halton Region, Ontario, Canada.
Services
The health center offers a huge range of programs and services to the people, which include Cancer Care, Diabetes Program, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardio Respiratory, Outpatient services, Surgical Program, Renal Program, Mental Health facility, Ambulatory cares and many more. In addition to this, it also consists of an emergency department which provides 24*7 services. The Emergency department serves approximately 53,000 patients every year.
