NEC is also known as National Exhibition Center is an exhibition center situated near junction six of the M42 motorway in the city of Birmingham, England. It is adjacent to Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Railway station. The NEC was opened in February 1976 by the efforts of Elizabeth II has twenty interconnected halls, which set in grounds of 611 acres, which makes it largest exhibition center in England and seventh largest in Europe. In this exhibition center, the first event Stage was Spring Fair as a Very small sized event. As of now, this event occupies all of the twenty halls of National Exhibition Center and LG Arena.
NEC hosts a variety of events every year such as British International Motorshow, Classic Motor Show
Love, Euro Bus Expo, Games Day, Cycle Show, Caravan Show, Warely National Model Railway Exhibition and many more. NEC hosted British International Motorshow in their venue from 1978 to 2004. They also hosts International dog show Cruffs from 1991 to till now, which uses five halls and LG arena and held for four days every year. In addition to above shows, driving for children aged 11-16 years with young driver happens every week regularly in the NEC.
