History
The predecessor of the
Leeds United was Leeds City FC, which was actually formed in the year 1904. Within the one year of the establishment, it was in 1905 that they were elected League members. The Leeds United was formed in the year 1919 and on 31st of October, 1919; it was elected to enter the
Midland League. On 31st of May, 1920, it was for the first time that the club was elected to football league. The company won the title for the first time in the year 1924 and was promoted from the Second Division to the First Division. It remained unable to maintain their position, so in 1927, the club was again deported to the Second Division. The club was overtaken by the Cellino on 5th of April, 2014. There are about 75 percent shares of the club which are holded by Eleonora Sports Limited.
