Kuwait International Airport is one of the largest airports of Kuwait situated in Farwaniyah, Kuwait. The airport functions as hub for Jazeera and Kuwait Airlines. One of the parts of airport is designed as Al Mubarak Air Base that consists of the head office of the Kuwait Air Force and the Kuwait Air Force Museum. The airport has partnership with the Arab Air Carriers and Iata Organization. Kuwait Airways started its journey in 1927.

In the year 1960, the airport expanded its business to London and started flight services thrice a week. Kuwait Airport expanded its services to New York and Manila as of the year 1978. The airport was renovated to increase the passenger handling area to approximately 24 million passengers on 3rd of October 2012.
