HRT is an acronym for Hampton Roads Transit which is a transport authority in the state of Virginia which is responsible for taking control of transport services like Railway services, bus services and ferry services. The agency came into existence on October 1, 1999 with the amalgamation of two former departments known as the Peninsula Transportation District Commission (Pentran) which take control over the Virginia Peninsula and Tidewater Regional Transit (TRT) and also Tidewater Transit District Commissions.
There are over 70 transport routes in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area. The system had daily ridership of 63,150 as of August 2012. HRT or Hampton Roads Transit provides light rail services, three 150-passenger ferries on Elizabeth River between Norfolk and Portsmouth, Traffic, metro area Express facility, Peninsula Commuter Service and much more. It provides its services in several areas such as Virginia Beach, Newport News, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Smithfield town.
The department HRT(Hampton Roads Transit) is administered and governed by the Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads that consists of thirteen members. It has no Revenue source, it is financially run by the federal, local and state funding member under the state jurisdictions. Its head office is located at 3400 Victoria Boulevard, Hampton, Virginia in the United States.

hrt: As a regular consumer of hrt's products and services, I find it difficult to further support or applaud efforts on this company's behalf to continue business appropriately
I am constantly missing buses. The hrt ridership schedule is either outdated or pointless to view at times due to understanding it. Personal conflicts beyween my consumer priveledges ate unquestionably becoming more of an issue. I have observed, not with just myself, but other rider patrons personal and in regards to comments being openly stated, mainly, in regards to one's socioeconomic status, disabilities, , etc
So, any further nonprofessional attempts to continue in that regarded will be recorded and measures to handle those demeaning and childish offenses as they should. Thank You. I've actually only one bus route in particular that should be managed more closely The 115 Buckroe Beach bus.
