Guelph Rod and Gun Club is Associated With and Known as:
Guelph Rod and Gun Club (GRGC) is a private members only gun club located east of Guelph, near Toronto, Ontario. It was established in the year 1958 and is amongst the finest shooting clubs. It is a non-profit club and is incorporated and registered by the Province of Ontario, Canada. It is located over twenty Three acres of club property.
Facilities of Guelph Rod and Gun Club
The ranges and facilities are all approved by the Province. The facilities available at the club includes seven outdoor ranges, a first class indoor facility and a large clubhouse for training purposes as well as simply gathering with other shooting enthusiasts. Guelph Rod and Gun Club also has a clubhouse with indoor washrooms a working kitchen and meeting room/lounge area. The facilities offered are as per all shooting disciplines and are premeditated for the safety and enjoyment of the members and the guests. Routine activities at the club includes Archery, Blackpowder, Bullseye, CAS, IPSC, ODPL, PPC, Rifle and Trap.
Guelph Rod and Gun Club Programs
Guelph Rod and Gun Club holds various competitions both at club and regional level. It also has taken up the responsibility of hosting various National Championships. It operates a regulation ATA trap field on Saturday's from 9 until noon. The indoor pistol range is available seven days a week from 9 am until 10 pm. The club also has four action shooting ranges, which include 25, 50 and 100 yard rifle ranges, a falling plate rack, and 25 yard indoor handgun range. It allows non-members to join the Trap only on Saturday’s at a chargeable fees. Guelph Rod and Gun Club provides new memberships, but all the new members are probationary members not being eligible for the RSO courses. It also runs introduction and safety courses several times a year and with small class sizes to ensure all new members receive one on one introduction to the club and its policies.
