GPC stands for Georgia Perimeter College, a higher education public college of Georgia that was established in the 1958 by DeKalb County Board of Education. The board started college with the name of 'DeKalb College' and after five years, it opened its new campuses in the Metro area. According to released report by Georgia Perimeter College in March 2015, it has approximately twenty one thousand students that studying in its five campuses, situated at Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, and Newton.
