It is a local governing authority of the U.S. state of Florida that was incorporated in the year 1981 as the Escambia County Utilities Authority and renamed as the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority on 29 June 2004. Its headquartered on Sturdevant Street, Pensacola, Florida, United States. It has more than 1,000 employees. This aurthority was setup to fulfil the need of better sanitation, wastewater facility in the city. It also takes the responsibilty to maintain proper water supply in the Escambia County and the City of Pensacola. The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority is controlled by five board of members including president.
