To whom it may concern,
There has been a lot of change in the NBA this summer. Many players have changed teams, some came as a surprise some did not. Keeping with this summer of change, I too, would like to announce my basketball fan free agency. This will purely be a basketball fan decision. I have been a basketball fan for many years. It was the first sport that I loved. I started to watch the Boston Celtics with my grandparents in he mid 80's. The Celtics were my first team and Larry Bird was my favorite player. Then, a change happened. I switched teams it wasn't unexpected the writing was on the wall. I started to watch another team and began to admire their young guard. He played with tenacity and flair. He was everywhere on the court and at the very least once a game he'd do something that ID be out in the backyard trying to do the next day. I decided to take the hard road. I was a Chicago Bulls fan and there wasn't a player on earth who could compare to Michael Jordan. We won many championships during my time in Chicago. We won three in a row twice. I stuck by the team even when Michael retired the first time and was excitedly waiting by the television when he came back. When Michael retired I decided to step away from the game as well. It wasn't the same anymore. I didn't have the fire to watch basketball. Soon, however, a blaze was burning. Talk of a new team was in the air. They also had a guard who could score from almost anywhere on the court. The Seattle Supersonics, soon to be the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Kevin Durant had gotten my attention. Soon the team relocated Kevin changed to a forward and the had a fiery young point guard to go along with him. What an exciting time I was back in the game.
