The Data Service Center (DSC) is a not for profit service organization based in United States that provides technical support regarding the processing, networking, management, distribution and storage of data within the school administration. It is owned, operated and managed under the direct supervision of Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated School Districts.
The services offered at the Data Service Center (DSC) are divided into 2 categories such as 'services provided to a data center' and 'services provided from a data center'. The former services include the facilities to plan, design, create, build, support, update the software web applications while the latter services manages the delivery of e-mails, data backup and archiving, cloud computing and many more.
The members of the school district are provided with help desk and training support. The services on the contract basis are offered to different school districts such as Indian River, Lake Forest, Milford, New Castle County Vocational Technical, Smyrna, Appoquinimink, Caesar Rodney, Seaford and the Charter School of Wilmington.
There are different types of web based administrative applications provided by the school district such as Finance Budgeting and Reporting, Human Resources and Payroll Reporting, Personnel Attendance, Personnel Applicant Tracking, FTE Reporting, etc. The student applications offered include eSchoolPlus, DSC Health Accounting, Standardized Test Reporting, Student Applicant Processing and others. Many other support services offered include Assessment Processing, Data Collection and Entry, Custom Printing, etc.
The courses offered by the school district consists of Microsoft Office Courses and e-SchoolPlus courses that includes Word Introduction, Word Advanced, Access Introduction and Advanced, Power Point Introduction and Intermediate, Excel Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced, e-SchoolPlus Attendance Course, eSchoolPlus Discipline Course, eSchoolPlus Student Registration Course, etc.

The services offered provide support to the clients in terms of data collection, processing, and reporting needs. With the proper resource management and the power of Internet, the Data Service Center (DSC) help meet educators the need of professional development. The Data Service Center (DSC) was founded on July 1, 1981 with the separation of New Castle County School District into 4 school districts such as Brandywine, Christina, Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated.
