Busch Stadium also known as Busch Stadium III is a multi-purpose sports stadium and also known as the home ground for the St. Louis Cardinals, of MLB. The Stadium is replaced by Busch Memorial Stadium and took some part of that stadium. Busch Stadium is the third stadium in the city. Highest attendance (48,263) in the stadium is recorded in May 2013 in a friendly football match. Busch Stadium was formerly known as Busch Memorial Stadium and it was renamed in 1953 after the name of Gussie Busch. Busch Stadium was opened on 4th of April 2006 and organized a minor match between two affiliates of the St. Louis Cardinals namely Memphis Redbirds and Springfield Cardinals. This match was won with 5-3 points by Springfield. A major baseball league was organized in this stadium on 10th of April 2006, which was won by the Milwaukee Brewers.
