I dined with my Auntie at the San Bruno, California location. I ordered the double bone pork chop dinner, with a bake potato and asparagus as the sides. I also ordered grapefruit juice. The bake potato was the same color as the grapefruit juice ironically. I asked two people if the potato could be replaced, I was told yes, it never happened The bake potato had a rotten smell to it. I asked for a manager, five to ten minutes later he arrived, and went to get another potato, 3-5 minutes later, the manager came back and said it would be twenty minutes for the bake potato. I was offered to order other another side, but, opted not to, since I was halfway through the meal. Our server, was not paying attention to anything, we had to ask for utensils to eat our meals, the grapefruit was definitely dated, the server was never available, the restaurant was not busy. I requested the invoice, it took 3-5 minutes to get it, and was not surprised to see that I was charged full price for an incomplete meal. I paid the charge, and opted not to tip the server. Bringing a smelly orange colored bake potato to the dining table was incredibly rude. I started to take a picture of the baked orange potato, and post it on Facebook, but decided to save BJ’s the embarrassment’ The manager never apologized or offered any discount.
